1. Erogonomic Approach To Prevent Accidents At Unmanned Level Crossing02-02-200502-02-200502-02-2005The accidents at unmanned level crossings are horrible. This contributes fatality of nearly 40% of total in the rail accidents. Buliding of overbridge is simple solution but very costly. The conditions leading to accidents were analysed and simple solutions were derived by ergonomic approach. The persons who really interested to reduce accidents will try to implement the results.
2. Significance of Safety on Productivity for Constrained Capacity Production09-07-200410-07-200409-07-2004 To 10-07-2004Accidents in the industry are on the rise. We selected one textile industry and the data of frequency of accidents per year and the amount spent for safety per year were taken and analysed and found that both the parameters have some relationship. It has been found that the amount spent is inversely proportional to the frequency of accidents.
