This is to inform that the Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai has proposed to award Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- per month under “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for college and university students”. The candidates, who have passed and secured not less than the marks, as prescribed in the enclosure, in the higher secondary examination held in March 2009, conducted by the State Board of School Examinations, Tamilnadu and pursuing First year of higher studies in 2009-2010, are eligible to apply for the same.

The blank application forms can be downloaded by the eligible students from the Website http://www.tn.gov.in/dge They may also get it from the college office on or before 21.12.2009 (Monday).

The filled in applications (Annexure III to V formats of which are available in the above said website), should be submitted to the Joint Director (Hr.Sec), Directorate of Government Examinations, DPI Campus, College road, Chennai on or before 24.12.2009 either by Registered / Speed post.

Also enclosed a Xerox copy of the above news published in Dinamalar daily news paper on 16.12.2009. The concerned eligible students of First year B.E./B.Tech who have joined in this college during 2009-2010, may follow the above instructions and get benefited.
