INTRODUCTION: * Several major changes have taken
place, both globally and nationally, in the recent past. These changes include
those due to external agencies such as the Government, Industry and higher
Technical Educational Institutions in India and abroad; and consequent
socio-economic and cultural changes.
* These changes present challenges as well as opportunities.
Objectives:
To provide a Welcoming, Supportive and Safe environment to the students of
KLNCE.
To nurture the development of transformable skills to the students
To conduct motivation programs to bring out students’ abilities, make them
feel valued.
To orient the students towards good attitude, make them applying universal
human values in life. CORE VALUES:
Recognizing students as brand ambassadors of KLNCE.
Nurturing integrity, creativity and DISCIPLINE among students.
Retaining a willingness to support students issues. LONG TERM
GOALS:
- Strengthening and Monitoring of college facilities like Hostels, Transport,
Library, Common computer centre, Rest rooms, Canteens, Refreshment areas,
Recreation rooms, Gyms, Sports (indoor &outdoor), vehicle parking , Wi-Fi
Communication (mobile, tablet, laptop, PC, etc).
- Maintaining discipline in and around the college campus.
Our college joins with IIT Madras and Council for Science and Technology for Rural India (CSTRI) in starting “Rural Engineering Technology Club” in our college. Creative and committed II Year B.E / B.Tech students can join this club for their empowerment.
Guidelines for Club Formation
The following are the guidelines based on which the colleges have to form the Rural Engineering technology Club in their college:
1) The club should, as far as possible, have students from across all the departments. If not reason should be given.
2) The club should, as far as possible, have an equal number of male and female students. If not reason should be given.
3) The club should, as far as possible, have at least 20 students. If not reason should be given.
4) The club membership will be open only to the first and second year students.
5) The student club should be formed by inviting all the students to become members of the club by providing information about the club through posters, emails and any other means which are usually adopted by the college in order to attract the interested students.

- Started “Rural Engineering Technology Club” jointly with IIT Madras and Council for Science and Technology for Rural India (CSTRI).
- Organized NNSC – 2014 jointly with Association for Computer Machinery, IIT-Delhi and Network Bulls, Gurgaon.
- Organized a seminar by Polish delegate Mr. Marcin Uminski on Polish education system and University studies for International students.
- Organized a Presentation on “Higher Education in the U.S.” and “Student Visas” by USIEF and Public Affairs, US Consulate General.

Our college proudly announces in organizing NNSC - 2014.NNSC-2014 is National Network Security Championship and a workshop jointly being organized by Association for Computer Machinery, IIT-Delhi and Network Bulls, Gurgaon. The grand finale will be organized at IIT Delhi under the banner of NNSC (National Network Security Championship).
A two day hands-on Network Implementation workshop will be held at our college on 6.02.14 and 7.02.14.The workshop will be delivered by Cisco Certified Professionals working with Network Bulls, Gurgaon. After the workshop a Mega Competition of NNSC-2014 on the basis of two day workshop will be held. Winners will be awarded Certificate of Merit, and are required to participate in Final Round which will be held in the month of March 2014 at IIT Delhi in association with ACM-IIT Delhi.
Winner of the Final Round will win The National Network Security Champion title and will be awarded and honored by ACM-IIT Delhi. A Certificate of Excellence will also be awarded to the Winner from ACM-IIT Delhi.
Prizes worth Rupees 1,00,000 which will include Laptops, Tablets will be given to the winner as well as runner ups.
Dr.S.Balasubramanian Prof/Mech, Convener, Student Care Centre will be coordinating the above program along with Mr.B.Chandrasekaran AP/ CSE.
