The Department has highly qualified, well experienced and dedicated  Seven   faculty members with Two Ph.D qualification. Two Associate  Professors , Five  Assistant Professors  and a supporting staff to assist lab sessions and department activities.

The department has a well-established laboratory with 16 working tables to accommodate 60 students at a time.

The teaching staffs are provided with a separate room equipped with internet provision and automation system.

The department has completed one Research Project on “A Systematic Search for Effective Anti-Corrosion Agents from Plant Sources”, funded by AICTE under RPS during the year 2013 – 2016. Under this project the department has purchased, ‘Electrochemical work station’ instrument for Rs.8.0 lakhs.

The Faculty members have published 5 research papers in reputed Journals and presented 4 research papers in Conferences.

The department conducted a “State Level Workshop on Chromatographic Techniques” in the year 2017-18.

Faculty members regularly attend various Faculty Development Programmes such as Conferences, Seminars, workshops ,  NPTEL  certificate courses to update their knowledge.

The Department has newly added BOD Incubator, Turbidity Meter, TDS Meter, Nephalometer and Ultrasonicator for R & D Work.
